Blue Moon Harvest Pumpkin Ale Commercial Description:

“In 1995, we crafted our first autumn seasonal—Blue Moon Harvest Pumpkin Ale. At the time, Oktoberfest beers were in high demand. For our version, we wanted to create a beer that was a little different than what was already out there and complemented the season by highlighting the flavors we’ve all grown to love during this time. It was so popular that it became the first nationally available pumpkin ale. Blue Moon Harvest Pumpkin Ale, as it’s called now, is crafted with pumpkin and spices of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice for a taste you’ll want to fall right into.”

Here as long as the leaves are.

The basic bitch of the pumpkin beer world. (Wait, am I using “basic bitch” the right way?) This is the type of pumpkin beer you bring to a late summer / early fall BBQ. The Blue Moon Harvest Pumpkin Ale will be your best pal as you’re lurking in the corner at a 5 year olds birthday party you really don’t want to be at. But you have obligations, so you need to attend and watch lots of children jump around some bounce house or whatever the hell it’s called. You are also an adult and don’t want to be both the childless person who lurks at children’s party, but also brings and drinks cheap light beer at said party. So you bring Blue Moon Harvest Pumpkin Ale because it is light, sweet and floral. Smooth and easy to drink. Serves as an analogy for spending fall Saturdays at children’s birthday parties – not your first choice.
