Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat Commercial Description:

“Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat seasonal offering combines the smooth taste of Shock Top with the flavors of Fall. We start with a traditional Belgian-style wheat ale and then brew with ripe pumpkins and a variety of autumnal spices, including nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves, for a refreshingly smooth pumpkin wheat beer that fully captures all the flavors of fall.”

Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat is a great beer. Period. It’s smooth, great for watching football, and very accessible.

Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat will give you absolutely zero “cool” points though.

Shock Top Wheat is made by Anheuser Busch, from what I can only assume as a worthy contender to the Coors owned Blue Moon. So basically, it’s as corporate as you can get, except for say, the Blue Moon Pumpkin Wheat.

Given the choice between the two, you can’t go wrong with the Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat offering. Often served with a caramel sugar rim, it is a satisfying pumpkin beer.

Additionally, the Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat is often the most economically sound pumpkin beer out there. Where we are at, you can get a 6-pack for around seven bucks while a 4 pack of Dogfish Head Punkin is around eleven bucks.
