Southern Tier Warlock Pumpkin Beer Commercial Description:

“We decided to turn things up a bit this year and brew Southern Tier Warlock to a Blackwater Series appropriate 10% abv.

Southern Tier Warlock is brewed to enchant you palate on its own and also to counterpoint our Imperial Ale, Pumking. Make your own black magic by carefully pouring this Imperial Stout into a goblet.

Dark and mysterious, the Blackwater Series is serious about high gravity. Reanimate your senses with Warlocks huge roasted malt character, moderate carbonation and spicy pumpkin pie aroma.”

I‘m not too sure of the etymology of tall, dark and handsome, but that is what Southern Tier Warlock Pumpkin is. The anthropomorphism of Gary Cooper. Warlock stands tall and proud in its glass, dark and proud in appearance. Warlock has a creamy foamy head that just feels great drinking.

My favorite thing about drinking a stout is its ability to sit.  I’m not saying I like warm beer. I don’t. I am the type of person whom regularly throws away the last 6th of a pint because it’s warm. A stout though can sit with you and come down to room temperature and still taste great. Warlock is no exception. Whether on draft or bottled, Warlock works. As the temperature decreases, the complexities of the chocolate notes rise for a truly satisfying experience.
